BETH
GRIFFIN
Beth Griffin has taught
classical ballet for the past 20 years. She began her ballet studies in
Atlanta, GA, with Terrell Paulk (Atlanta Ballet) and Sonja Manzi (Vienna
State Opera Ballet). She performed with Mr. Paulk's company for 6 years,
coached contestants for the Miss Georgia pageant, and choreographed for
numerous stage productions in Georgia. She also danced with the Las Cruces
Chamber Ballet in New Mexico and had the privilege of training under Marc
Ligon and Andree Harper (Ballet El Paso) while obtaining a BSEd in middle
grade science. In 1996 she co-founded the Columbus Ballet with Maria Hirsch,
formerly of Ballet de San Juan. There, she served as Executive, Artistic,
and Associate Director, performing, choreographing, staging, and directing
many classical and contemporary works. Beth joined BRT in 2008 year as
an instructor for the academy and Ballet Mistress for the company.
